The professionals at Child Development work with families and the community to provide high quality, comprehensive preschool education. They emphasize family involvement and supportive services to prepare each child for success in school and a lifetime of learning.
Since the summer of 1965, Child Development, Inc., has operated high quality Head Start and childcare programs.
Services include:
- Head Start for ages 3 to 5 at six locations throughout the county.
- County-wide Home-Based Head Start.
- Child Care for ages 6 weeks through kindergarten at three locations.
- Early Intervention for birth through 3 years.
- Home-Based Early Intervention program.
- Support for parents and families to achieve personal, educational, and career goals with a strong emphasis on family involvement.
