Don't forget tomorrow is Election Day! Some people will tell you it isn't an "important" election. True, we aren't electing a president this time around. Many people believe that elections for local positions will directly affect our lives more than elections for presidents and US senators and representatives. So get out and vote. Every election is important. And every vote is important. Not sure? Check out The Republican Herald for interviews with local candidates.
Weirdly enough, Election Day is also about pork and sauerkraut. I don't know why. I just know that many fire companies, churches and other organizations host dinners on election day so, after you vote, you can support your local organization AND not have to worry about Tuesday's supper.
