Looks like this weekend will be a washout but that doesn't mean we can't plan for nicer weather...like a nice walk in the beautiful autumn woods. Of course many of those walks wouldn't be half as enjoyable without the rails-to-trails program. Learn more about this incredible addition to our state at a 30 minute free slideshow presentation at the Sweet Arrow Lake County Park clubhouse on Tuesday, October 18 at 7 p.m. Historian Brandy Watts Martin will be telling us about the Stony Mountain Rail Trail, a 19.5 mile rails-to-trails path that winds through Dauphin, Lebanon and Schuylkill counties. One peek at Martin's slides and you'll be itching to get out on trail.
