![]() According to my husband, this is definitely the onion snow! Onion snow is the last snow of the season -- a here in the morning, gone completely by evening type of snow, which signifies it's time to plant the onions. So, if you're eager for the end of snow season -- or eager to plant your onions -- take heart! And take a photo of this gorgeous snow with the hope that this is the last we will see for months. I recently spoke to a leader of an organization that is having trouble finding volunteers -- some people are just not "into" volunteering while others have so much on their plate already it's tough for them to make time for another volunteer gig. After all, the old saying is true, there ARE only 24 hours in a day. For everyone searching for extra help for their organization, project, cause their is a Lunch and Learn Program this Wednesday you shouldn't miss. "Recruiting and Utilizing Volunteers" will be held from 11:45 to 1 p.m. at the Schuylkill Chamber Conference Center, 1 Progress Avenue, Pottsville. the fee is $15 for chamber members and $25 for future members.
