There are lots of fun Halloween happenings this week -- some for adults, some for kids and some for the whole family. So even if you're long past the age of TPing the neighbor's house and pigging out on mini candy bars you can find a fun way to celebrate Halloween. Of course, do we every really outgrow pigging out on mini candy bars?

Edgar Allen Poe Readings at Schuylkill County Council for the Arts, 1440 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
Friday, October 28
Halloween Kids' Bingo at Trinity Academy school cafeteria, 233 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.)
There will be monetary prizes, door prizes, food. And wear your costume!
Saturday, October 29
Halloween Hustle 5K at Landingville at 9:30 a.m.

Spooky Strings at the Lodge at Sharp Mountain at 7:30 p.m.
The Anthracite Philharmonic will be performing their third version of Spooky Strings. Tickets are $25 and include light refreshments, there will be a cash bar. Buy your tickets at the Lodge on Thursday or Friday.
Halloween Dance at American Legion Post 38, Parkway, Schuylkill Haven from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
For people 21 and over. Tickets are $5 but only $4 if you're in costume.
Sunday, October 30
Haunted Mansion at the Schuylkill County Council for the Arts, 1440 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $3.
