Memorial Day is upon us. Unoffficially it's thought of by many people as the first stirrings of summer but officially it is a day to remember those who died in the service of their country. This year I'm sure all of our thoughts will be with the family and friends of Mahanoy City native Army Reserve Spc. Peter Luddy. If you have a chance, take the opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of this holiday by attending a parade or other event for the military as well as picnicking and enjoying your time outdoors. Stop back again on Friday for updates!
