It's time for the Schuylkill County Wine Festival! Held at Hegins Park on Sunday, September 1 from 1 pm to 6 pm (gates open at noon) it's a great day for both wine lovers and those who want to enjoy a day outdoors. In addition to wine sampling, there will be music, food vendors and artisans. There will even be horse drawn wagon rides. Dogs are welcome but they must be leashed.
Join in the fun by participating in the table decorating contest. This year's theme has so many possibilities -- Winestock: Peace, Love and Wine. This year every entrant will receive at least one bottle of wine -- but the five extraordinary tables will receive larger prizes. For tips on table decorating check out the Schuylkill County Wine Festival website.
