Today many people will be walking into the woods for deer season. To them I wish good luck, good weather and safe days. Those of us who don't mark the Monday after Thanksgiving with a big red circle on our calendar fall into two general groups: those who are nestled cozy in our homes waiting for Spring and those who say "Phooey" to winter. If you belong to the second group (or even if you belong to the first group but want to venture out of your comfort zone) there are a few more hikes scheduled. Dress warmly and you'll get to enjoy the woods in a way you rarely can.
