While perusing the latest women's magazine in my dentist's waiting room I learned that choosing BIG GOALS as we greet a new year just sets us up for failure. Lose 20 pounds sounds great on January 1 but by January 24 we're floundering around, discouraged, wondering "How the heck do you lose 20 pounds?" Better to start with one manageable good habit like "Walk for 10 minutes each day" and, when that one has become a part of our life add another one. The idea is that all these little, manageable goals can add up to the big goal.

This year of 2020, I have made my mind to pursue a better career where I can earn enough to provide for my family. It is true that most people want some changes in their life. But the first question that needs to address is, How? In setting a goal in life, we must make a step by step plan to achieve it. Always consider our capacity and if we want to challenge ourselves by making a higher risk plan, prepare for any failure the we may encounter.
