Thursday, October 3
Long Loop Hike at 10:30 am
Meet at Crow Trail parking lot off Tuscarora Mountain Road for this 7 mile hike rated moderate. Led by naturalist Robin Tracey, this hike will explore the Crow, Lake View and Spirit Trails of Tuscarora State Park. Leashed dogs that are friendly to both dogs AND people are welcome. Bring a lunch.

Saturday, October 5
Riverlands Ramble at 9:30 am to 2:30 pm
Meet at Tuscarora State Park Visitor Center to carpool to site (or you can meet the group at the Riverlands Education Building at 10:30 am) for this 6 mile hike rated moderate. Robin Tracey will lead this hike outside of Berwick to explore the Susquehanna River and wetlands. 

 Saturday, October 5
Wee Ones Walk at 10 am to 11 am
Meet at Waterfall parking lot of Sweet Arrow Lake County Park  for this 1 mile hike rated easy. Porcupine Pat will explore the five senses and autumn with the youngest hikers.

Sunday, October 6
Kalmia Tunnel Hike at 9 am to noon
Meet at Nelson's Beer Distributor, Route 209 in Tower City for this 5 mile hike rated moderate. Sojourner Steve will lead this hike of Sharp Mountain to the old Kalmia Tunnelworks and Gold Mine Mountain.  

Sunday, October 6
Walk in Penn's Woods at 1 pm
Meet at Sand Siding Road parking lot, Pine Grove for this 2 mile hike rated easy in Swatara State Park.  Wheelchairs, strollers and leashed dogs friendly to other dogs AND people are welcome.

Monday, October 7
Fall Frenzy at 5:45 pm
Meet at St. Clair Historical Society for a quick jaunt around time to take in the seasonal decorations.

Friday, October 11
Swatara Fall Foliage Hike at 10:30 am
Meet at Trout Run parking lot just off Route 443 in Pine Grove for this 8 mile hike rated moderate. Led by naturalist Robin Tracey, this hike will run parallel to Swatara Creek, down to the old steel bridge, Bordner Cabin and loop around the park. Leashed dogs that are friendly to both dogs AND people are welcome. Bring a lunch.

Saturday, October 19
AT to SRT at 9 am to 1 pm
Meet at Pot Clinton ballfield at 944 South Street for this 8 mile hike rated moderate. Mandy Fitzpatrick will lead you from the Appalachian Trail to the Schuylkill River Trail.

Saturday, October 19
Dash and Dine at 11 am
Meet at St. Clair Historical Society for a quick walk and then a light lunch at a local restaurant. RSVP by October 12 so restaurant reservations can be made. Contact Walk St. Clair at walksaintclair@gmail.com or call 570-429-1161

Sunday, October 20
County View at 9 am to 2 pm
Meet at Mount Pleasant Hose Company, Buck Run for this 8.5 mile hike rated easy Hiker Jim will introduce you to old Airport Road, "88" and High Point on Buck Ridge.

Thursday, October 31
Spooktacularly Spooky Walk at 5:45 pm
Meet at St. Clair Historical Society for a walk that will include all the Halloween decorations, the adorable (but oh so scary!) trick or treaters and a venture into the cemeteries. Feel free to wear a costume!

The Butterfly Guy at 7 pm
Sweet Arrow Lake Clubhouse
Rick Mikula, president of Butterfly Rescue International, will help you recognize native butterflies, explain how butterflies escape predators and introduce you to LIVE butterflies.

Thursday, October 3
Drum Circle at 6 pm
Sweet Arrow Lake County Park Waterfall Pavilion
Drum Circle with the Itchy Dog Singers featuring Lenape Nation dances, legends, history and traditions.

Saturday, October 19
Only in Schuylkill County Bus Bash from 9 am to 3 pm
Led by Porcupine Pat, learn more about Schuylkill County natural wonders, industry and more while riding in an air conditioned bus (restrooms also). Lunch is on your own at a local restaurant. Learn more or register at 570-391-3316 or lreichert@co.schuylkill.pa.us
