VISION FAQ

How does VISION work?
VISION works with partners in the community to achieve the goals that will move Schuylkill County forward. Our partners are community members, businesses and organizations.

Some VISION partners are individuals, organizations or groups connected to VISION by being part of our communication network or by their work in one of VISION’s strategic areas of economic development, education, government, infrastructure, quality of life, healthcare, and arts and culture.

Our community partnerships are already working together in established organizations. VISION is an affiliate member of these organizations, bringing information to these groups about our partners’ work in the community.

Some of our partners come together to form strategic partnerships to focus on mutual goals for the county. VISION offers ongoing support to these strategic partnerships. VISION will develop new strategic partnerships as new priorities are identified at VISION Summits. These Summits bring together stakeholders from our communities to address issues in the areas of Education, Quality of Life, Economic Development, Government, Infrastructure and Leadership. These summits will continue to identify new priorities and goals as the needs and possibilities of our County change throughout the 21st century.
