BOA is an inclusive arts organization that holds an annual spring arts festival in downtown Pottsville and works with artists and art organizations on community arts events and projects throughout the year in Schuylkill County.
The Block of Art (BOA) began in 2007 as a grassroots effort to bring an arts event to downtown Pottsville, a historic town in eastern Pennsylvania, about two hours northwest of Philadelphia.
Since its inception BOA has grown from year to year. It has welcomed hundreds of people to downtown Pottsville for its signature spring event and in 2019 transformed into a weekend street festival that included art galleries, activities, music and dance performances.
Connects has been the proud fiscal sponsorship of BOA since the beginning and looks forward to the great things to come from the organization and events.
